Updates on GenerationTrees

We've been going to the site, pulling out young pine trees to allow natives to come back. In 3 days and 7 hours of work we extracted more than 100 young pine trees, yeah! It was amazing to see how our home forest is helping the edges of this new space coming back to its normal beauty. Nature wants to return in fully glory!! Young karaka are sprouting from near the streams, manuka are taking over the little track roads used by bulldozers in the felling phase, ferns grow all over..however we had to kill three moths plants, majorly infesting invasive weeds with angry roots, and we spotted a tobacco plant to kill before she can create a invasive species forest of its own. It was hot and dry, seriously harsh conditions. But we keep going back to make it easier to Nature and prepare the land for PLANTING!
