INTEGRATED TREATMENT OF MIND, INNER AND OUTER BODY
"Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease.”
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. (World Health Organisation, 1948)
Whare tapa whā = the four pillars of health, incorporates taha wairua, spirit; taha hinengaro, mind; taha tinana, body; and taha whanau, extended family (Mason Durie, 1998).
I work on the basis that the human being can reach and preserve a condition of good, stable and enhanced health and vitality if she/he follows simple natural rules of living, eating, breathing, moving, thinking.
I will help you achieve this via direct interventions on nutrition, medicinal herbs and life-styles and via education on correct choices.
This approach asks patients to take responsibility for their own bodymind and health, both from a physical as well from an emotional standpoint.
